Our overhead is limited to credit card processing fees, state regulatory filing fees and legal & media relations, web hosting and programming. We do not pay for office space or engage in fund raising or soliciting by mail or phone. Markmakers is staffed entirely by volunteers. The 7% service charge on a card purchases covers part of our overhead. Support contributions from the Garfinkel's and other individuals make up the shortfall. We deduct nothing from the distributions made to charities.
